Upcoming Gig – Worth the Wallet

Location – The Kindred Bandroom, 3 Harris Street, Footscray (a very distinctive venue if you’ve not been)

Date – Friday 5 September 2025

Time – Doors open from 7:00 pm, and we’re on last at 9:45 pm (for a 30-minute set).

Cost – Patrons choose how much they want to pay on the night.  You can also pre-donate via the ticket link here.

Ps – Eamonn Connor no longer able to perform so four bands only.

About Us

Born Secret was formed in Melbourne Australia in 2010. Members are:

James O'Keefe : Lead vocals / Bass
Peter Galante : Guitar / Backing vocals
Jason Stacy : Drums
Al Venn : Guitar / Backing vocals

Members have varied history with a number local bands.
James was previously vocalist and bassist for Melbourne bands Three Speed and Mineral;
Peter has extensive experience as a guitarist and solo performer.
Al was previously with Cloud City while
Jason has performed with a number of bands including Effigy.
Their debut performance took place in July 2012 in the Melbourne suburb of Brunswick. To date the band has independently released I Have My Mind (2013) and My Girl (2014), with all writing, recording and production having been completed by the band.
Following a four year hiatus, the band re-engaged during December 2022 and added second guitarist Al Venn during 2023. The first performance with the new lineup took place in Brunswick (at Red Betty) in September 2023.
